Electronic Recycling and Refurbishment
Electronic Recycling
We formed the company to specialise in the environmental friendly disposal of computers and associated electronics equipment. Most Electronics equipment uses printed circuit board technology to drive its logic processing. These boards all contain, in minute quantities, various metals namely, copper, silver, gold, tungsten and palladium. The ability to recover these precious metals by accumulating them in bulk and then smelting them to reclaim the metals is one of the ways we are developing our electronics recycling business. We are currently setting up the infrastructure to process thousands of tonnes of electronics items per annum and develop a full range of services designed to recycle/recover on average 70% of all equipment processed.
These services been developed to ensure the best value recycling & recovery option can be employed to give customers a high quality service that realises the most cost effective, environmental disposal solution.
The introduction of the upcoming E.U. WEEE Directive (which in effect bans electronics going to landfill untreated) will drive more and more companies to invest in environmental disposal solutions. The Absolute recycling company will be ideally placed to handle the anticipated growth in volumes. For any advice or consultation regarding Electronics Recycling, or to make sure your company is able to comply with these changes, please contact a member of our team: support@arcrecycling.co.uk, and we can arrange to visit you on site.
Refurbishment / Remarketing
When collecting sufficient quantity of high quality, modern IT equipment, which is more suitable for resale than recycling, ARC can offer to Remarket products on customers' behalf.
ARC will collect and audit the assets. Equipment that is suitable for re-sale will then be sold on the customer's behalf. WE will be selling via UK traders or via ARC's online store. The remainder will be sold abroad, usually to other EU countries (We have a trade outlet in Poland, so most goods would be sent there).
ARC will take a percentage of the sale price (+costs & carriage) achieved. ARC will always endeavour to achieve the highest possible market value for equipment at the time of sale. For each collection ARC complete, a unique "Tracking Number" will be issued so that all assets can be tracked at all times through the process. Once all the equipment is booked into the Asset Processing Database from that customer, ARC will send a Booking In Report giving the full and comprehensive list of the equipment collected, its condition and data wipe information.
